Lesson Time
At Yorkland, curriculum is based on the developmental stages of childhood. Each grade’s coursework is developed in a way to reach out to each child, academically, emotionally and physically. Teachers use each child’s strengths to “cure” his or her weaknesses allowing for the development of a confident and creative child whom are eager to take on new experiences and knowledge.
Indoor Play
Our Yorkland’s indoor comprises hardwork skills which are skill key to develop and enhance several skills: fine motor skills, social awareness, inner balance, alertness, flexibility, and mathematical reasoning.
Outdoor Play
After school children spend abundant time outdoors everyday. We believe in teaching a reverence for nature and respect for our place in the natural world.
